On the rare occasion that Kara’s not on-stage, she’s training for her next half marathon. She has completed the Great Northern Run three times, fundraising thousands of pounds for charity. Nadiya’s passion for cooking has seen her star in her own television show, where she took a mouth-watering food tour around Cambodia, Thailand and her home country of Bangladesh. Well known for her amazing baking skills, Nadiya famously won the Great British Bake Off in 2015. Despite having confidence issues, she persevered with the competition, impressing the judges with her extraordinary talent (Mary Berry even shed a tear!) Since this experience, Nadiya has published two fiction novels; with stories that give voice to Muslim women, with plans to release the third in the trilogy soon. Lovely never stops.

Kara won the glitterball trophy for her samba performance during Sports Relief in 2008, before returning to the dancefloor two years later and taking the crown for a second time. Diagnosed with dyslexia as a child, Kara’s parents enrolled her in drama school to boost her confidence, which kickstarted her love of acting. She famously joined the cast of EastEnders, before starring in the West End and then the Royal Shakespeare Theatre Company. Since finding fame, she has used her voice to raise awareness for dyslexia with her documentary, Don’t Call Me Stupid. Lovely never stops.
