Creative Artworker

Oasis are looking for a proactive, motivated and dynamic Creative Artworker to join the team in their Shoreditch Head Office. The Artworker sits in a small creative team of 3, reporting directly into the Graphic Designer, working alongside the brand channels teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Support the team in generating new concepts and ideas for seasonal and marketing campaigns
  • Support the graphic design team by artworking various brand collateral including: window schemes, in store POS, large format graphics, labelling, packaging, Marketing & PR collateral
  • Admin and general support to the Graphic Designer and Senior Creative Brand Manager
  • Production and ownership of various documents, supporting Visual Merchandising, Retail Operations and HR with internal communications
  • Collation of business presentation documents

Essential Skills:

  • Qualification/degree level in Graphic Design or equivalent
  • Confident in using all Adobe Creative Suite applications
  • A portfolio demonstrating both design and artworking skills, showing a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Basic retouching skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Ability to deal with changing priorities and multi task
  • Ability to perform under pressure and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated with a desire to learn from others

Desired Skills:

  • Ideally some experience in the fashion / retail industry

Accessories Designer

Oasis Fashions ae looking to recruit an Accessories Designer to work in our Design team in our Shoreditch Head Office.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accessories specialist to join an established and successful design team, working alongside the Design Director, to create, visualise and deliver outstanding product design and aesthetics.

The Accessories Designer will be:

  • Responsible for creating and delivering outstanding product design and aesthetics for the accessories department, in line with the business, area sub-brand and product strategy
  • Responsible for supporting the Design team in all areas of research, development of products and decision
  • Responsible for designing own styles from initial research, through detailed sketches, artwork, prints & specs
  • Will work closely with the Buying and Merchandising teams to build range
  • Responsible for producing timely and unique product through planning, research and whole development cycle, appropriate for the Oasis customer
  • Responsible for the management and development of Design Assistant

Experience & Skills necessary

  • Able to own the colour process for the brand
  • Experience of working closely with a Buying department to build a range would be desirable
  • CAD skills
  • Technically competent on accessories development
  • Experience of working with a supplier would be advantageous
  • Previous experience working with the Far East

Hair & Make-Up Artist - Oasis & Warehouse

We are looking for a Hair & Makeup Artist to join the Oasis & Warehouse studio team; the ideal candidate will be passionate about Hair, Makeup and Fashion, consistently aware of current trends and would be able to relate and adapt these to the Oasis/ Warehouse brand.

The Hair & Makeup Artist will be responsible for all Hair and Makeup looks across the Oasis and Warehouse websites, Ecommerce and creative, potentially working on Look Books and Campaigns.

This role will report to the Studio Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full understanding of the Oasis/Warehouse brand and customer
  • Producing a high standard of Hair & Makeup that is brand appropriate, referencing the seasons catwalk trends and street style that would be relevant to the brands
  • On ecommerce days, producing Hair & Makeup looks for the model in the 1 hour allocated time slot, maintaining the approved look throughout the day and touching up after lunch
  • Understand and translate any creative changes quickly and with minimal disruption to the shoot
  • Responsible for Hair & Makeup kit- keeping an updated inventory, ensuring kit is kept clean and organised. Communicating any items needed to Studio Manager
  • Keeping an updated document with all approved Hair & makeup looks and suggestions for each model
  • Suggesting and testing new looks. Presenting ideas for creative briefs
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with the Shoot Leads, stylists, photographers and the brands; collectively deciding the most suitable looks depending on model and product

Buying Coordinator

Oasis Fashions are looking to recruit a Buying Coordinator to work in our Buying team in our Shoreditch Head Office.

This is a permanent role with great prospects for someone who is interested in developing a career in buying and has a passion for fashion and retail!

The Role

You will be working within a busy buying department, supporting the Junior Buyers & Buyers in developing and sourcing the Oasis products.

You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks including:

  • Creating garment orders
  • Monitoring the critical path
  • Managing all of the fit stages
  • Sample and department co-ordination
  • A range of ad hoc administrative tasks to support the buying team

Experience & Skills necessary

We are ideally looking for someone who has completed a relevant qualification and is looking to gain practical industry experience.

Other skills that are important for this role include:

  • Strong commercial awareness and a passion for the brand
  • Self motivated
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Some relevant work experience (i.e. within a high street fashion retailer)

Wholesale MAA

Oasis have an exciting opportunity for an entry level Wholesale Merchandise Admin Assistant to join our team in our Shoreditch Head Office. You will play an integral role in the Wholesale process from selections right through to delivery.

About the role:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing wholesale partners both in the UK and internationally
  • Management of critical path and sales trackers for each wholesale partner
  • Liaising with partners on a daily basis regarding order queries
  • Setting up of selection packs containing images of lines and all relevant product information whenever partners come in to select a range
  • Forecasting dispatch volumes to our DC through liaising with production teams weekly
  • Running dispatch on weekly basis and managing delivery expectations both internally and externally
  • Maximising profit and income through order management, reviewing trading opportunities and reducing cancellations
  • Completing order updates detailing any order changes to send to wholesale partners
  • Checking daily stock intake against wholesale orders and providing size ratio breakdowns to the distribution team to reserve the stock
  • Allocating stock once delivery permissions are received and providing the DC with allocation details to ensure deliveries are on target
  • Quarterly visits to the DC to liaise with the wholesale team

About you:

  • PC literate with strong excel skills (mid to advanced level)
  • Excellent organiser, multitasker and communicator
  • Confident, able to work independently and accurately
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and challenge positively when necessary
  • Enjoy fast paced environment and working to tight deadlines
  • Able to complete ad hoc tasks and prioritise workload
  • Commercial awareness
  • Experience in managing a critical path/line detail desirable
  • Experience working with a high street fashion retailer would be desirable
