Garment Technologist

Oasis Fashions are looking to recruit an experienced Garment Technologist for our team in our Shoreditch Head Office!

In this role you will successfully manage your own product department, ensuring fit and quality is fit for purpose and is consistent within Oasis.


Fit & Sealing

  • Drive and manage fit sessions with Buying and Design, highlighting any potential problems and offering proactive technical advice and cost effective solutions
  • Drive and maintain consistent fit across all products in line with Quality department minimum measurements
  • Drive and maintain consistent methods of manufacture in line with Oasis Golden Rules
  • Communicate fit and sealing comments effectively to Supplier in line with critical dates
  • Manage and deal with queries from the supply base
  • Engineer products for suitability and enhance cost and quality
  • Conduct Fit / Product Reviews
  • Build relationship with the Supply base and understand their capabilities
  • Support buying department to manage critical path deadlines.


  • Evaluate and approve Test Reports in line with Oasis standards. Make commercial decisions where necessary
  • Approve wash care labels for products ensuring consistency between care labels of the same product type/ fabric base/ range
  • Manage and assess wearer trials where potential problems have been highlighted and may be a risk to the business. Take appropriate action.


  • Assist Design with the initial specs/blocks for SR’s. Ensuring minimum measurements are adhered to
  • Ensure garments are fitted and sealed with efficiency. Least sampling (1st fit to seal process) with clear and concise comments sent to suppliers
  • Ensure measurements are consistent across all products and are in line with the minimum measurements
  • Support suppliers to ensure Spec measurements are consistently met adhering to Oasis guide to measure

SWOT & Projects

  • Manage project work on own area to ensure improvement of quality and assist in quality team projects
  • Make regular Store Visits to audit the quality of production and assess competition.
  • Collate SWOT reports for each supply base
  • Ensure supply base is familiar with Oasis Quality processes
  • Advise quality and buying teams of new developments and methods of manufacture
  • Update supplier manual for relevant area in line with other departments/competitors and best practice


  • Assess customer returns, fit and quality feedback, write off information and take the relevant action
  • Manage rejected deliveries on own department and liaise with the Buyer, Quality team and DC

Personal Management

  • To be approachable and use effective listening skills to manage information. To know what and when to refer upwards and what to manage on own initiative
  • To seek ideas that change and improve ways of working
  • Visit Factory base when necessary
  • To set a high standard and challenge short and long term action points.
  • Build relationships with Buyers and Designers
  • Be able to adapt to departments needs and manage any change efficiently and effectively

Hair & Make-Up Artist - Oasis & Warehouse

We are looking for a Hair & Makeup Artist to join the Oasis & Warehouse studio team; the ideal candidate will be passionate about Hair, Makeup and Fashion, consistently aware of current trends and would be able to relate and adapt these to the Oasis/ Warehouse brand.

The Hair & Makeup Artist will be responsible for all Hair and Makeup looks across the Oasis and Warehouse websites, Ecommerce and creative, potentially working on Look Books and Campaigns.

This role will report to the Studio Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full understanding of the Oasis/Warehouse brand and customer
  • Producing a high standard of Hair & Makeup that is brand appropriate, referencing the seasons catwalk trends and street style that would be relevant to the brands
  • On ecommerce days, producing Hair & Makeup looks for the model in the 1 hour allocated time slot, maintaining the approved look throughout the day and touching up after lunch
  • Understand and translate any creative changes quickly and with minimal disruption to the shoot
  • Responsible for Hair & Makeup kit- keeping an updated inventory, ensuring kit is kept clean and organised. Communicating any items needed to Studio Manager
  • Keeping an updated document with all approved Hair & makeup looks and suggestions for each model
  • Suggesting and testing new looks. Presenting ideas for creative briefs
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with the Shoot Leads, stylists, photographers and the brands; collectively deciding the most suitable looks depending on model and product

Marketing Manager

Oasis Fashions are looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team in their Shoreditch Head Office. The Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that all seasonal campaigns and collaborations are supported by compelling and integrated marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

To unite cross-functional teams across the business around campaign objectives and timings to give a greater sense of team purpose.

Fully project manages key seasonal campaigns and collaborations from conception to execution, ensuring that they are delivered on time and on budget.

Leads the kick-off, analysis and subsequent wash up meetings for cross-channel projects to ensure that the wider business objectives are met.

Responsible for the customer experience in store, ensuring that Oasis is truly multichannel and recognised as a leading brand within the UK retail industry.

Ensures that every channel is fully optimised and in line with the overall Marketing strategy when new launches are taken to market.

Manages third party strategic relationships that drive customer acquisition and is responsible for the annual marketing laydown that drives this.

Works with the International Retail team to ensure that global franchise partners are fully supported, that all campaign deliverables meet their requirements and that they receive assets on time.

Leads the marketing strategy for brand experience stores, including flagships. This includes managing budgets for all in store activity and working with the wider Marketing & PR team to ensure that they are supported through omni-channel activity.

Responsible for ensuring that all critical paths, project matrix documents, ideas / pitch documents are up to date on a weekly basis.

Supports the Senior Marketing and PR Manager with the budget management and the setting of objectives and KPIs for all seasonal campaigns and collaborations.

Works with the Senior Marketing and PR Manager to forecast and track budgets.

Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Marketing Coordinator and continually support their development through regular mentoring and the setting of personal objectives.

Online Trade Manager - Maternity Cover

This is an exciting opportunity for an Online Trade Manager to join the Oasis Ecommerce team to cover a period of maternity leave. 


Merchandising and Trading

  • Planning and reforecasting weekly sales based on e-commerce KPI’s across all own e-commerce and Host website markets
  • Analysing sales, returns, promotional reactions, delivery metrics at department and category level and reacting as necessary
  • Working closely with Finance and Product Merchandising teams throughout
  • Planning and managing e-com stock levels to maintain size availability and minimise terminal stock
  • Reporting on daily and weekly sales performance throughout the company, including Executive level at Trade
  • Trading stock levels to release or increase stock relative to how products are selling across channels

Digital Trading

  • Planning, reforecasting and trading the site based on Digital metrics including visits and conversion, abandonment rates, searches, online reviews, customer navigation etc
  • Working closely with Content team on Emails and Homepage using digital metrics to plan accordingly
  • Managing the merchandising of the site through our online platform Demandware, working closely with the backend systems of the website
  • Oversee the website enabling and sample process, ensuring products are on the site in a timely fashion and that product merchandising is optimised across all categories.
  • Summarising lost sales / areas of opportunity and acting accordingly
  • Work closely with the studio on ecomm shoots recommending styling and managing the no of products shot weekly
  • Manage Senior Trading Assistant, Trading Assistant and ecomm MAA
  • Work with Director of Digital on web P&L to ensure costs are being controlled in all areas.


  • Analysing all web dispatch metrics, reacting and planning as necessary to trade in the most profitable way.  Working closely with Finance and Executives at all stages
  • Working closely with the DC on all delivery metrics.  Analysing all aspects of delivery to improve customer satisfaction and monitor DC SLA’s
  • Plan full year and Quarterly web metrics with the DC at orders and unit level by Country
  • Analyse Ship from Store Metrics working closely with Retail operations to trade in the most profitable way whilst maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with Retail Assist looking closely at onsite technical processes and solving issues where necessary

Skills and Experience

  • Head office experience to merchandiser level
  • Advanced excel
  • Proven experience of budgeting and reforecasting, either stores or preferably e-com.
